Yeah, I just changed my username again.
Not a big change... a small one this time. And I'm sticking with this one!
The reason I changed it was I got my Greek wrong. My username was supposed to be a made up word that meant "I Dig Good Books". I used a bunch of usernames in the past, and when I changed my username 6 months ago I had been using archaeobibliologist (combining archaeology+biblia to sarcastically mean that I dig books).
But then someone called me out and showed me that the Greek word for "to dig" is exaro. I immediately changed my usernames on most sites to exarobibliologist, except I was stuck on dA because I had to wait 6 months to change my username again. It's finally here, and I just changed it...
Now my username can be broken down and translated as follows: exaro ("to dig") + biblia ("book" or "reading") + ologist ("one who")
This properly signifies that I am "One Who Digs Book Reading"
On A Slightly Funnier Note
I changed my Google Account to exarobibliologist too, and I've recently started using it.
Someone asked me the other day for my email, and I spelled the email for her. She got all excited, and asked "Is that your college major!?"
I never thought it sounded that official when I made the word up, but apparently it's official sounding enough that people think it's a real word, and possibly even a real job.

RIP GetDeb
Since 2009 or 2010, I've been using GetDeb PPA on my Linux installs to get a few extra programs that weren't available natively.
GetDeb was discontinued back in 2012 after a huge server crash. Several geeks banded together back then to rescue GetDeb and continue to make it available. Even that was prone to difficulty, with getdeb frequently being down.
For the past couple years I've been using the mirror sites at mirrors.dotsrc.org/getdeb because they are more reliable. Then, last week I did a Linux install for a friend, and he mentioned that every time he did an update it triggered an unusual error message. Clearsigned file isn't valid, co
Some Cool Artwork by JAV1966
I found some really nice photographs from JAV1966 (https://www.deviantart.com/jav1966) and wanted to share them with you.
What a wild picture. The picture is a little blurry, but I doubt I would have stuck around if I was that close to an alligator.
And some flowers. I like flowers!
Back to the Blog
I recently got into blogging again. Several years ago I did a blog mostly discussing technology issues and Linux coding. I still have that blog, and I will occasionally post to it. It's at

The problem is that the subject matter on that blog is very restrictive. I formed a new blog which I've been posting to a lot more frequently. It's called The Random Thoughts of an Introvert Nerd. https://randomthoughtsofanerd.tumblr.com
Do you have a Tumblr? Let me know and I'll check it out.
DDD - Daily Deviation Drive
I've been trying to find my deviousness again, and I think I found something that works.
So I want to start something, so everyone can share in this devious idea. Let's do this and make it viral together.
RULES:
1. Make a Collections folder in your favorites called Daily Deviations.
2. Look in the Undiscovered gallery for amazing art. Focus on finding quality deviations; don't suggest just for the sake of suggesting.
3. Figure out which CV you need to suggest the deviation to! Check out FAQ #18: https://www.deviantart.com/help/18 - Who selects Daily Deviations and how are they chosen?
4. Be sure to read the CV's suggestion guidelines. Then suggest the under-appreciated but amazing art you found for a Daily Deviation.
5. If it gets
